Belco shares rise $2

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange fell 160.85 points yesterday — a 2.75 percent decline — to close at 3,776.49.
Both Butterfield Bank and KeyTech saw shares decline.
Butterfield Bank fell $0.80 (6.17 percent) after 1,000 shares traded, closing at $12.15.
KeyTech shares dropped $0.25 (2.50 percent), closing at $9.75 after 2,200 changed hands.
Belco fared better on the day with a 12.5 percent jump — rising $2 to close at $18 — with 2,300 shares traded.
BF&M also gained yesterday, closing at $18.70 for a 1.08 percent increase ($0.20).
Argus shares were active, with 3,000 traded but closed unchanged at $11.
The Bermuda Insurance Index improved 0.67 percent yesterday to close at 787.95.
