Bermuda CableVision has announced the launch of two new broadband link data service packages, featuring the fastest speeds ever offered over the company's advanced, fibre-based cable network.

The new high-speed services deliver data speeds up to 8 Megabits (MB) for $55 per month and up to 6 MB for $45 per month. Both services are being offered through Internet Service Providers North Rock Communications, FKB Transact and Logic.

Terry Roberson, general manager of Bermuda CableVision, said: "Today, we're excited to be launching Bermuda's fastest Internet service ever, our new 8 MB Broadband Link service, as well as an attractive, super-fast 6 MB package, both at very affordable rates. The new 8 MB service can be used by power users, gamers and people working with large files, video and photos.

The 6 MB package remains an ultra-fast alternative and offers many of the same advantages at an affordable price.
