Bermuda signs insurance exchange agreement

SWITZERLAND (Bloomberg) - Insurance regulators in Germany, Taiwan and Bermuda agreed to exchange information and work together to improve cross-border supervision of the industry.

The three watchdogs are the first to sign up to an agreement proposed by the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, the Basel, Switzerland-based association said yesterday in an e-mailed statement. Another 17 regulators are seeking to join the group.
