Only one insurance company set up in Bermuda last month, according to the latest statistics released by the Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA).

Best Doctors Insurance Ltd. was formed on the Island on August 25, following a month of inactivity during July.

The last firms to establish in Bermuda were Cavu Re Ltd. and Tiberius Reinsurance Co. Ltd. in June.
