BF&M Ltd. saw its share price tumble 8.3 percent yesterday.

The insurer and investment company plunged $1 to $11 on the trading of 38,247 shares.

Butterfield Bank remained unchanged on $1.35 as 10,100 shares traded.

The only other issuer on the domestic board to trade was telecommunications firm KeyTech Ltd., which remained unchanged on $7.80, as 1,100 shares were exchanged.

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange Index fell 10.63 points, or 0.8 percent, to close the day's trading on 1,286.55.

Volume was 49,447 shares and turnover was just over $445,000.

The BSX will be closed on Monday for the Bermuda Day holiday.
