The Bermuda-based captive owned by US power company Duke Energy had its financial strength rating affirmed at A- (excellent) by AM Best yesterday. Bison Insurance Company Ltd. also had its issuer credit rating affirmed at "a-" and the outlook for both ratings is stable.
