BNTB announces boardroom changes
Butterfield Bank has announced a number of changes to its management in a big boardroom reshuffle.
In a filing to the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX), the bank announced that effective from February 28, Alan Thompson retired from his position as a director and as the president and CEO of the company.
The following day, Bradford Kopp was appointed as a director and as the president and CEO of the company, while effective from March 3, Vincent Ingham resigned from his position as a director of the company.
Also in a filing to the BSX, Butterfield Securities Ltd. announced the appointment of directors to funds within the family of Butterfield mutual funds, with Curtis Dickinson, David Stewart and Sheila Brown appointed directors of Butterfield Bermuda Fund Ltd., Butterfield Capital Appreciation Bond Fund Ltd., Butterfield Select Invest Fund Ltd. and Butterfield US Dollar Bond Fund Ltd., all on December 10, 2009.
On the same day, Mr. Dickinson, Mr. Stewart and Robert Lotmore were appointed directors of the Butterfield Systematic Equity Fund Ltd.
