Bradshaw elected to board of IBA committee

Kumi Bradshaw

Asgill Post has announced that business valuation professional Kumi Bradshaw has been elected by the membership of the Institute of Business Appraisers (IBA) to the position of board member of the Accreditation Committee.

Mr. Bradshaw is a Certified Business Appraiser (CBA), Business Valuator Accredited for Litigation (BVAL), and is believed to be the only Bermudian to hold these accreditations.

His appraisal and advisory experience includes helping clients based in Bermuda, North America and central Europe. Mr. Bradshaw has helped clients with business purchases, business sales, shareholder disputes, estate matters, litigation support and matrimonial disputes.

Mr. Bradshaw also co-authors The Royal Gazette's "Business Sense" column, a series reflecting on some of the "best practice" issues and considerations relevant to owners of privately held companies.

The Institute of Business Appraisers, which is based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is the oldest professional society devoted solely to the appraisal of closely held businesses.

Asgill Post provides business valuation, financial strategy and purchase/sale related advisory services to privately held companies.

"This was a nice surprise and I look forward to the opportunity to serve," Mr. Bradshaw said.

"It's a great opportunity to give back. I'm also excited about the opportunity to gain experience and develop new relationships which we can leverage when serving our Bermuda clients."
