BSBDC gives business opportunity tips

Entrepreneurs will be shown how to identify new business opportunities at the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation's latest breakfast seminar held this month.

The event, which will be hosted at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess on Wednesday August 18 between 8 a.m. and 11.30 a.m., will feature international guest speaker Sonia Alleyne, editorial director of Black Enterprise.

Other speakers include Ralph Richardson, president of Maven Concepts, Nosheen Syed, principal of MindMaps, Vincent Savery, assistant statistician of the Department of Statistics' economics division, and Anjula and Ashley Bean, owners of Juice N' Beans Cafe.

Among the topics covered at the event will be using statistical data to recognise industry trends and a panel discussion with local and international entrepreneurs.

The seminar costs $50 per person, with the first 50 people to registered paying $25.
