BSBDC to focus on 'Going Green'

Saving money and the environment will be the focus for a seminar held by the Bermuda Small Business Development Corporation at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess next week.

The 'Going Green Seminar', which will take place between 8am and 11.30am, will look at the use of green technology to save businesses money, with topics ranging from making your office green at a reasonable cost, solar power solutions, carbon footprints, and eco-friendly products and services 101.

Guest speakers will include Kevon Makell of PureNERGY Renewables, Michael Burke of thegreenhousebermuda, Charles Leon O'Brien and Jenefer Brimmer of Hi Group of Companies, Vanese Flood Gordon of the Ministry of Public Works, Tim Madeiros of Alternative Energy Systems (Bermuda ) Ltd., and Judith Landsberg of Greenrock.

The event costs $50 per person and the first 50 people to register will get a discounted rate of $25.
