Locals stocks fell in quiet trading yesterday, as Butterfield Bank's common stock tumbled more than three percent.

The bank was the only issuer to trade and saw its share price fall 15 cents, or 3.1 percent, to close on $4.60, as 2,222 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index fell 26.21 points, or 1.2 percent, to close on 2,232.44. Volume was 2,222 and turnover was $10,470.
