BSX falls for sixth day

The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) fell for a sixth successive day as power company Belco Holdings Ltd. dipped 2.7 percent.
The BSX Index closed the day at 2,955.58, down 8.22 points, or 0.28 percent.
Belco fell 45 cents to $16.05 on the trading of 1,127 shares.
No other domestic company changed value.
Both Argus ($7.75) and Butterfield Bank ($8.50) remained at their 52-week lows, as 7,500 Argus shares changed hands and there were 1,663 Butterfield shares traded.
Volume was 10,290 shares and turnover was $90,647.
The BSX Insurance Index of the Island's leading international insurance companies plunged 3.55 percent yesterday to close on 765.61.
