BSX holds steady
The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Index was unchanged on a light day of trading to end the week.
Butterfield Bank was the most actively traded local stock, ending the day unchanged on $4, as 10,746 shares traded.
The secondary market for the bank's preference shares continued to see activity, as 120 shares changed hands and the price rose $2, or 0.16 percent, to $1,225.
One hundred shares of Argus Group Holdings Ltd. were exchanged, leaving the insurer's price unchanged on $9.50.
Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. was the only other local issuer to trade, staying unchanged on $5.10, as 63 shares changed hands.
The Index closed on 2,077.18, on a volume of just over 31,000 shares. Bermuda dollar turnover was $44,214.45 and US dollar turnover was $394,053.33.
