BSX is unchanged
Despite the trading of 11,471 shares throughout the day, there was no change in any share price on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Argus Group Holdings Ltd. traded 4,600 shares, Belco Holdings Ltd. traded 4,000 shares, and Bank of NT Butterfield traded 2,871 shares, but their prices were unchanged by close.
The BSX opened and closed with a value of 4,978.61 points.
The BSX yesterday announced the approval of the listing of Class B shares of Butterfield Bermuda Fund Ltd. The listing was effective from 24 April 2008.
Butterfield Securities (Bermuda) Ltd. sponsored the listing of the company's shares.
Ian Coulman, managing director of Butterfield Asset Management said: "This is the addition of an institutional class to the existing Butterfield Bermuda Fund. The Butterfield Bermuda Fund has the objective of long-term capital growth and current income by investing in a diversified portfolio of Bermuda assets. These assets may consist of equity securities of companies incorporated in Bermuda or having a substantial presence in Bermuda, debt securities of those companies and of the Bermuda Government."
