Busy again on BSX

Trading resumed at The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange yesterday after two days of zero trades.

Yesterday 12,535 shares were traded on the Index, which dipped by 1.94 percent to finish at 4,493.83.

Bermuda Press Holding Ltd.'s saw its share price fall by nearly seven percent. It closed at $14, one dollar less than it was on Monday, after 3,100 shares swapped hands.

Butterfield Bank's share price fell by 3.3 percent after 2,385 shares were traded. It finished at $14.5.

BF&M also saw a dip in its share price, down 1.8 percent to finish at $19.60, after 1,800 shares were traded. And Belco Holdings Ltd.'s share price was down 0.9 percent, finishing at $21.25.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. saw the biggest gain when its share price shot up 7.3 percent to finish at $11 after 500 shares were traded. Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. also saw an increase in its stock price, up 3.3. percent, to finish at $6.20 after 2,000 shares were traded.

The Bermuda Insurance Index finished at 990.7, down 1.38 percent.
