Digicel customers should have better service in the Paget area as a new cell site has been established.

The cellphone service provider announced yesterday it had installed a new site at the Elbow Beach Hotel. with the aim of providing better coverage and quality of calls in the Paget area.

Digicel said the improved quality of cellular services will be most noticeable from Trimingham Hill through to Coral Beach.

"This recent site addition is part of Digicel's ongoing network improvement strategy, with this particular site being the first with a completely wireless site deployment." said Michael Swan, director of Network Operations for Digicel.

"The network expansion enables Digicel to meet growing customer demand for wireless services and wireless coverage improvement needs."

In March, Digicel announced the increased cell site coverage in the Eve's Hill area.
