Employees of First Atlantic Commerce (FAC), a Bermuda-based, online multi-currency payment and risk management solutions provider, this week won the Team Spirit Award after participating in the annual Catlin End-to-End charity fund raising event held on May 2nd, 2009.

A FAC team of ten biked across the island to raise money for the Bermuda End-to-End Charitable Trust. Clad in Superhero costumes in an effort to collect more pledges (the brainchild of VP of International Business Development, Christopher Burns), the team raised a total of $9120, matched in part by First Atlantic Commerce.

The End-to-End event was supported by numerous local sponsors and more than 2500 individual participants, who walked, ran or biked the 24.1 mile course. Funds raised were allocated to 11 local registered charities across the island.

The award presentations were made last Thursday at the offices of Mello, Jones & Martin, a Bermuda law firm. Mr. Burns accepted the Team Spirit Award trophy on behalf of FAC.
