Gosling's clinches promotion deal with Boston Red Sox

Gosling's has become the official rum of the Boston Red Sox after signing an agreement with the seven-time World Series winners.

The Bermuda-based wines and spirits merchant will also have its logos displayed at Fenway Park, the 98-year old home of the Boston Red Sox and the oldest ballpark in Major League Baseball.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in Bermuda in 1806 by James Gosling, Gosling's signature spirit is its deep, rich Black Seal Rum, which has won more than six top awards internationally.

Seventh-generation Gosling's president Malcolm Gosling, said: "We are extremely proud to be part of Red Sox Nation and look forward to a bright and sunny relationship as more and more fans discover something called the Dark 'n Stormy."

Gosling's rums will now be available at Fenway Park, including all luxury suites at the facility.

Additionally, the boardroom meeting facility in the EMC Club will be named the 'Dark ' n Stormy Boardroom' as a tribute to the Gosling's cocktail and the Island's national drink.

"It is exciting to call Gosling's a corporate partner and we welcome them to the Red Sox family," said Red Sox chief operating officer Sam Kennedy. "We thank them for their commitment to the Red Sox and our worldwide fan base known as 'Red Sox Nation,' many of whom are Bermudians.

"The presence of Gosling's products at the ballpark combined with the availability of the 'Dark 'n Stormy Boardroom' will be a real treat for all of our fans."
