KeyTech gains 2.8%

Two domestic board companies rose and one fell in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading last week.Shares of telecommunications group KeyTech Ltd. recorded a 2.8 percent gain, on a rise of 20 cents to $7.25. Volume was 14,100 shares.Fellow utility Ascendant Group Ltd. also gained ground, climbing five cents, or 0.35 percent, to close the week on $14.

Two domestic board companies rose and one fell in Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) trading last week.

Shares of telecommunications group KeyTech Ltd. recorded a 2.8 percent gain, on a rise of 20 cents to $7.25. Volume was 14,100 shares.

Fellow utility Ascendant Group Ltd. also gained ground, climbing five cents, or 0.35 percent, to close the week on $14.

The only stock to fall was Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd., which fell 30 cents, or six percent, to $4.70.

There was also significant trading in Argus Group Holdings Ltd. and BF&M Ltd., as well as Butterfield Bank, but all remained unchanged over the five-day trading week.

The Royal Gazette / BSX Index closed 2.7 points down for the week, or 0.2 percent, to close on 1,220.82.

Volume was just shy of 42,900, while turnover topped $302,000.
