Reinsurance broker Guy Carpenter is set to expand its Bermuda team with the appointment of former Deutsche Bank convergence executive Erik Manning.

Mr. Manning will join the company on September 27 in the global specialties business, reporting to division chairman Kevin Fisher.

His role will involve developing market-based retrocession reinsurance solutions, according to a Guy Carpenter statement.

Mr. Manning has almost 10 years experience in the convergence markets.
