Norwegian Crown marks cruise ship season

The ship sailed out of Port Canaveral, Florida with 931 passengers and will overnight in Hamilton Harbour.

She will then shift to St. George's Harbour tomorrow and depart later the same day.

On the docks, bad weather pushed the arrival of the Oleander from Sunday to Monday.

And yesterday the ship experienced a further delay as a dock dispute slowed off-loading.

The Oleander brought in 128 dry and 33 refrigerated, nine road trailers of structured steel, eight cars, one truck, and one concrete mixer.

She was expected to leave yesterday afternoon.

On Sunday the Somers Isles brought in 89 dry and five refrigerated containers, an amphibious vehicle, a truck, and numerous bundles of lumber and steel.

And tomorrow the Bermuda Islander is scheduled to arrive with 86 dry and 15 refrigerated containers.

Next week Monday the Frida is expected to deliver 7,000 tonnes of cement in Dockyard.
