A taste of luxury: BA's regional manager for Bermuda Marianne Wilcox tries the new-look first-class cabin
Bermuda travellers got a sneak preview of British Airways' latest first-class cabin look, when a Heathrow-based aircraft was utilised for the Bermuda-London Gatwick route.
From early this year, the airline has been upgrading its nearly 10-year-old first-class cabins in a £100 million ($157 million) revamp on 777 and 747 aircraft.
This process will take about two years to complete and started with the fleet based at Heathrow.
BA's regional manager in Bermuda, Marianne Wilcox (pictured) took a look herself.
Each seat includes a personal wardrobe with shoe stowage, a bed which is almost half again as wide as the previous one and seats that are 60 percent wider at the shoulder.
