Six companies to pool their fleets Six shipping companies have established a joint firm under which they will pool their Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) fleets.
A.P. Moler, Euronav, Frontline, Overseas Shipholding Group Inc., Osprey Maritime and Reederei (Nord) Klaus E. Oldendorff have pooled their fleets under Tankers International LLC.
The company will commence operations upon the receipt of the required regulatory approvals which are expected by February 15, 2000.
