Role: Accounts payable administrator, Air Care Ltd.

What is your job? Posting of all transactions, preparing payment requests and reconciling accounts for both local and foreign vendors. I also act as an alternate for each department and play a heavy role in the service department focusing on auditing service reports and tasking of air conditioning, plumbing and fire maintenance contracts.

What is your favourite part of the job? Working alongside such lovely people! I enjoy working with customers and being able to offer quality service to take care of their air conditioning needs. I also enjoy planning the company social events and seeing the smiles on the employee's faces while they enjoy the festivities!

What is your least favourite part of the job? Auditing service reports for payroll. Having to read each timesheet for 40 technicians and ensuring the listed job information, time and description of work is correct can be strenuous and very time consuming.

What is your most interesting experience at work? Confronting challenges, discovering the cause and solution to any problem and working closely with the financial controller, general and operations managers and completing any assignment they pitch my way!

What would you be doing otherwise? Traveling the world and taking pictures to capture each happy moment.
