Former Premier Sir John Swan will take centre stage at Bermuda's Emerging Professionals' (BEPRO) Annual General Meeting (AGM) held at the Chamber of Commerce today.

Sir John will be the keynote speaker at the event entitled 'Opening Doors to Success: What Bermuda's Emerging Professionals can look forward to at the start of a new decade', which runs from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

The BEPRO Constitution, which will implement a structure and guidelines to enable the organisation to continue to grow, will also be presented at the meeting, as will the election of officers to a number of open positions through its executive board and committee.

"As we reflect on the past year and the events we have held, it is evident that there is a strong need for an organisation in Bermuda that attracts diverse people," said the BEPRo Buzz newsletter.

"You, our members, are drawn from all walks of life and your participation in our social, community and professional development events demonstrates that you are keen to learn, to get to know new people and to make Bermuda a better place."

A light lunch will be available at the event.
