Stanford case on agenda at insurance seminar
Allen Stanford's alleged Ponzi scheme will be just one of the topics up for debate at a high profile seminar held in Bermuda next month.
Goldberg Segalla LLP will be hosting the event entitled 'From Claim to Conclusion: Examining Insurance/Reinsurance Coverage Issues for the 21st Century' at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute on Tuesday May 18 between 8.30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Goldberg Segalla partners, Thomas Segalla, Daniel Gerber, Sharon Angelino and Jeffrey Kingsley will address a number of cutting edge issues, such as the latest developments in the Stanford case, understanding the importance of the recent Wasa decision along with emerging insurance issues involving genetically modified foods, Chinese drywall, green construction and the possible emergence of the New York Insurance Exchange and its implications.
Registration and breakfast will begin at 8.30 a.m., with the presentation taking place from 9 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. Attendance is free and lunch will follow the presentation.
