Stocks fall slightly

Local stocks fell slightly last week on slight declines by Butterfield Bank and LOM (Holdings) Ltd.
The Royal Gazette / Bermuda Stock Exchange closed Friday on 2,361.95, a fall of 9.32 points, or 0.4 percent, over the five trading days.
Butterfield, the most heavily traded stock, declined by five cents, or 0.9 percent, to close the week on $5.45, as 95,503 shares traded.
LOM slipped back five cents, or 1.4 percent, on the trading of 5,000 shares.
Belco Holdings Ltd. was the only other stock to trade, closing on $16.25, as 3,400 shares changed hands.
Volume for the week was 103,903 shares and turnover was $593,723.
The BSX was closed yesterday for the National Heroes' Day holiday.
