Role: Distribution and procurement manager, Digicel

What is your job? My job consists of managing and co-ordinating the ordering and distribution of handsets and accessories. Furthermore, I am assigned specific duties such as the verification of incoming shipments and disposition of the merchandise.

What is your favourite part of the job? My favourite part of the job is being a part of Digicel's triumphs and knowing I have played a role in these successes.

What is your least favourite part of the job? I can honestly say there is no part of my job that I dislike. At Digicel, no two days are ever alike. I look forward to the daily challenges that make me a stronger and more experienced professional.

What is your most interesting experience at work? The most interesting experience has been the recent launch of the new BlackBerry 8520 and witnessing the heavy demand for this device, which sold out in the hundreds within hours. Times like these make the pressure of having to quickly coordinate and organise the next shipment just to meet the increased demand within the market. It's an adrenaline rush!

What would you be doing otherwise? Travelling the world. Regarding occupation, I think I would enjoy social work. I love interacting with people and helping them wherever needed.
