Volpert steps down from Lancashire board

Lancashire Holdings Ltd. has announced the resignation of director Barry Volpert with immediate effect.

Mr. Volpert's resignation follows the sale of Crestview Partners LP's remaining shares in the company, as advised to the market on Wednesday.

Mr. Volpert is a managing director of Crestview.

Martin Thomas, chairman of Lancashire, said: "Barry Volpert joined the board of Lancashire at the time of the company's IPO in December 2005, shortly after the group's formation.

"I would like to thank Barry for his contribution to the work of the board during his time as a director of the company, and most recently as chairman of the investment committee, and I wish him every success for the future."

Richard Brindle, CEO of Lancashire, said: "Crestview provided a significant portion of the initial capital to the company at its foundation. I have appreciated Barry's contribution to the success of the company and I, too, wish him and Crestview well for the future."
