West Hamilton Holdings shares gained $1.25 (10.41 percent) yesterday in trading on the Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange.

The stock closed at $13.25 after 1,000 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank fell on the day, losing $0.20 (1.66 percent) to close at $11.80 after 4,164 shares traded.

In the utilities sector, Belco rose $0.95 (5.75 percent) with 300 shares trading, to close at $17.45.

Also active was Devonshire Industries which saw 3,100 shares move but closed unchanged at $13.

Overall the BSX fell 4.94 points to close at 3,633.76 and the Bermuda Insurance Index fell 1.21 percent to 879.03.
