Accenture, Warner get green light for moves to Ireland

Two Bermuda-based firms won shareholders' approval to move their operations to Ireland at special meetings held yesterday.

Accenture and Warner Chilcott both made the announcements which rubber-stamp the proposed change of their place of incorporation.

Accenture will complete the transaction next month, subject to approval by the Supreme Court of Bermuda at a hearing on August 14.

Warner Chilcott expects to complete its move on August 20 and to reform as Warner Chilcott plc, the group's holding company, as well as beginning trading on the Nasdaq global market.
