Argus Group Holdings Ltd.'s shares enjoyed a busy day's trading on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The insurance company's share value rose by 25 cents (2.7 percent) to $9.55, with 1,222 shares traded.

But Devonshire Industries Ltd. dropped 50 cents (3.8 percent) to $12.50, as 2,100 shares changed hands.

Butterfield Bank's share activity continued to thrive as 10,400 shares were transacted throughout the day, but its price held firm at $9.55.

Belco Holdings Ltd. also traded 2,273 shares, its value remaining unchanged at $16.95.

Overall, the Index crept up 9.07 points (0.28 percent) to 3,235.77, with 15,995 shares worth $175,040.50 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index, however, dropped 8.95 points (1.09 percent) to 809.69.
