The Ascendant Group Ltd. saw its share drop 45 cents (2.8 percent) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 315 shares to close at $15.55.

Other traders included Butterfield Bank, which saw 26,745 common shares change hands, and BF&M Ltd., which transacted 2,700 shares, but both companies' share prices remained unchanged.

Overall the Index slid 8.22 points (0.35 percent) to 2,367.15, with 29,760 shares worth $181,815.65 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index also dropped 7.85 points (0.83 percent) to 936.73.
