The Ascendant Group Ltd. fell 9.37 percent ($1.50) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 1,200 shares to close at $14.50.

Butterfield Bank also dropped 1.4 percent (two cents) to $1.40, with 1,100 shares changing hands.

BF&M Ltd., meanwhile, rose 3.39 percent (45 cents) to $13.70, as 5,000 shares were transacted.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. was also up 1.02 percent (10 cents) at $9.85, with 500 shares changing hands.

Overall the Index dipped 19.11 points (1.54 percent) to 1,219.46, as 7,800 shares worth $92,365 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index also slipped 15 points (1.5 percent) to 985.
