The Ascendant Group Ltd. dropped 3.26 percent (49 cents) to $14.50 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities provider traded 5,744 shares during the day.

But Keytech Ltd. rose 2.83 percent (20 cents) to $7.25, with 3,500 shares changing hands.

The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which transacted 27,100 shares to close at $1.47.

Overall, the Index slipped 1.8 points (0.14 percent) to 1,258.39, as 36,344 shares worth $148,656 were traded.

The BSX Insurance Index rose 10 points (one percent) to 1,014.
