The Ascendant Group Ltd. fell 0.36 percent (five cents) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company closed the day at $13.75 with 5,300 shares traded.

Butterfield Bank also saw 2,000 shares change hands, but its share price held firm at $1.40.

Overall, the Index dipped 0.44 points (0.04 percent) to 1,218.13, as 7,300 shares worth BD$75,675 and 973 shares worth US$9,584.05 were transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index rose nine points (0.95 percent) to 953.
