The Ascendant Group Ltd. dropped 1.78 percent (25 cents) to $13.75 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company traded 3,500 shares during the day.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. also fell one percent (10 cents) to $9.90, as 200 shares changed hands.

The Index, as a whole, dipped 2.69 points (0.22 percent) to 1,218.13, with 3,700 shares worth $50,105 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index remained unchanged at 928.
