The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) traded 2,100 shares worth $11,550 during a quiet day to open and close at 2,382.59 yesterday.

All of the shares were transacted by Butterfield Bank, but the bank's share price held firm at $5.50.

The BSX Insurance Index fell 15.32 points (2.12 percent) to 706.65.
