BAS climbs 3.4%

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd. rose 3.4 percent (14 cents) to $4.25 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.
The transportation company traded 5,000 shares during the day.
Other traders included KeyTech Ltd. (17,580 shares), Butterfield Bank (8,800 common shares and 45 preference shares) and BF&M Ltd. (7,749 shares), but all of their share prices held firm.
Overall the Index was up 0.61 points (0.05 percent) at 1,220.07, with 39,129 shares worth BD$266,365.40 and 45 shares worth US$59,180 changing hands.
The BSX Insurance Index remained unchanged at 985.
