BAS heads upwards

Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd.'s share price soared 75 cents (14.28 percent) to $6 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The transportation company traded 962 shares throughout the day.
But Butterfield Bank fell five cents (0.42 percent) to $11.75, with 4,744 shares changing hands.
Other shares transacted included BF&M Ltd. (100 shares), Belco Holdings Ltd. (82), KeyTech Ltd. (72) and Argus Group Holdings Ltd. (10).
As a whole the Index dropped 1.94 points (0.05 percent) to 3,606.82, as a total of 5,970 shares worth $63,315.40 were traded.
The BSX Insurance Index also declined 2.92 percent to 859.92.
