Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. rose 3.45 percent (33 cents) to $9.88 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank traded 37,504 shares during the day.

The only other traders were Butterfield Bank and Kentucky Fried Chicken Ltd. which transacted 33,100 and 1,000 shares respectively, but both of their share prices remained unchanged.

The Index, as a whole, was up 1.63 points (0.13 percent) at 1,277.15, as 71,604 shares worth $424,836.60 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 13 points (1.33 percent) at 990.
