Bermuda Commercial Bank's shares plunged 43 percent ($4.15) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The bank closed the day down at $5.50, with 2,308 shares traded.

Overall the Index dropped 42.64 points (1.8 percent) at 2,332.72, as 2,308 shares worth BD$12,706.40 and 70 shares worth US$87,041.11 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index was also down by 1.29 points (0.13 percent) at 972.88.
