Bermuda Container Line Ltd. boosted its share price by $1 (9.09 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The shipping company closed the day up at $12, with 1,400 shares traded.

Watlington Waterworks Ltd. was another mover, climbing 35 cents (three percent) to $12, as 400 shares changed hands.

But Butterfield Bank slipped five cents (0.52 percent) to $9.45, with 2,400 shares transacted.

Other traders included BF&M Ltd. (40 shares), KeyTech Ltd. (27) and Belco Holdings Ltd. (20).

Overall, the Index dipped 2.72 points (0.08 percent) to 3,233.04, with 4,287 shares worth $45,598 traded.

The BSX Insurance Index closed up 2.3 points at 786.21.
