Bermuda Press (Holdings) Ltd. rose 17.64 percent ($1.50) on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The company closed at $10 with 5,500 shares traded.

The only other traders were Butterfield Bank (10,400 shares) and BF&M Ltd. (300), whose share prices remained unchanged at $1.50 and $12.90 respectively.

The Index, as a whole, was up 1.77 points (0.14 percent) at 1,280.05, as 16,200 shares worth $70,765 changed hands.

The BSX Insurance Index slipped 34 points (3.63 percent) to 903.
