Belco drops 16.7%

Belco dropped 16.7 percent ($3) to $15, while West Hamilton Holdings Ltd. increased 10 percent ($1) to $11 on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.
The utilities company traded 2,000 shares, while West Hamilton Holdings saw 3,500 shares change hands.
The only other trader was Butterfield Bank, which declined five cents (0.5 percent) to $10.20, with 4,800 shares transacted.
Overall, the Index fell 61 points (1.8 percent) to 3,321.05, with 10,300 shares worth $117,460 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 5.12 points (0.57 percent) at 892.45.
