Belco Holdings Ltd. boosted its share price by 25 cents (1.56 percent) on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.

The utilities company's share value closed the day at $16.25, with 2,000 shares traded.

The Index, as whole, finished up 4.57 points (0.19 percent) at 2,371.27, with 2,000 shares worth $32,500 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index gained one percent to close on 818.08.
