BF&M boosts price

BF&M Ltd. was the big trader on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday.The insurance company boosted its share price by 50 cents (3.03 percent) to $17, with 2,310 shares traded.But Butterfield Bank fell five cents (0.48 percent) to $10.20, as 1,400 shares were transacted.

The insurance company boosted its share price by 50 cents (3.03 percent) to $17, with 2,310 shares traded.
But Butterfield Bank fell five cents (0.48 percent) to $10.20, as 1,400 shares were transacted.
The only other trader was Belco Holdings Ltd., which saw 40 shares change hands, but its share price held firm.
Overall, the Index dropped 1.49 points (0.04 percent) to 3,382.53, with 3,750 shares worth $54,010 traded.
The BSX Insurance Index, however, was up 4.52 points (0.52 percent) at 871.6.
