BF&M Ltd. fell 7.14 percent ($1) to $13 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer traded 2,600 shares during the day.

Bermuda Commercial Bank Ltd. also saw 3,000 shares change hands, as it declined 6.06 percent (50 cents) to $7.75.

Butterfield Bank, meanwhile, transacted 192,700 common shares, but its share price held firm at $1.45, while MediaHouse Ltd. traded 100 shares, remaining unchanged at $13.50.

Overall, the Index slipped 14.55 points (1.04 percent) to 1,384.37, with 198,400 shares worth BD$338,315 and 920 shares worth US$9,844 changing hands.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 0.58 percent at 1,005.05.
