BF&M Ltd. rose 1.84 percent (24 cents) to $13.25 on The Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) yesterday.

The insurer traded 242 shares during the day.

The Ascendant Group Ltd. also climbed 1.62 percent (24 cents) to $14.99, with 800 shares changing hands.

Overall the Index inched up 3.78 points (0.31 percent) to 1,234.43, as 242 shares worth BD$3,206.50 and 800 shares worth US$11,848 transacted.

The BSX Insurance Index increased three points (0.3 percent) to 1,016.
