BF&M on the up

BF&M Ltd. took advantage of a good day's trading on The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index (BSX) yesterday to climb 25 cents (1.44 percent) to $17.50.
The insurance company traded 700 shares.
Butterfield Bank, however, saw its share price drop five cents (0.42 percent) to $11.70, with 3,400 shares changing hands.
The Index as a whole fell 5.11 points (0.14 percent) to 3,601.71, as a total of 4,100 shares worth $51,920.40 were transacted.
The BSX Insurance Index declined as well, down 4.69 percent at 820.12.
